With its ultra-precise diameter of 58.6 mm and flat bottom, the stainless steel base of this Baristator dynamometric tamper was designed to tamp all the ground coffee in your filter.

A classic coffee tamper does not get close enough to the edge of your filter (causing significant loss of grounds). This Baristator tamper solves this problem with its wider diameter.

This dynamometric tamper is suitable for filters of manual espresso machines equipped with a 58 mm brew group.

A carefully designed base shape

Its dynamometric handle allows you to achieve tamping with the same precision throughout your day. This guarantees identical extraction, regardless of the force level applied during tamping.

This Baristator dynamometric tamper is configurable: unscrew the end of the handle to adjust the pressure to be applied.

Its shape differs from classic "rectangular" tampers, and this is not a matter of aesthetics, but again, a matter of efficiency.

Its diameter prevents any loss of grounds, but the issue of air suction may then arise: where a classic coffee tamper would cause the grounds to lift by suction effect, the Baristator dynamometric tamper allows air to circulate progressively, to avoid any air pressure imbalance.
