The puck screen Baristator is an accessory used during espresso preparation, designed to be placed on top of the tamped coffee (the "puck") in the 58 mm portafilter before extraction. It promotes more homogeneous extraction by ensuring uniform water distribution over the tamped coffee, which can reduce the risk of channeling in the coffee. 3 different designs are available.

We all seek to optimize every step of our coffee extraction, and uneven water distribution can affect the result in the cup. Channeling, the barista's worst enemy!

Made of stainless steel, the Baristator puck screen solves this problem! This accessory is positioned on top of the grounds in the portafilter. It thus maintains constant pressure on the puck during extraction, which allows water to diffuse more effectively over the grounds thanks to its 150 µm perforations.

The advantage of this small perforated stainless steel disc is that the shower screen stays clean by creating a barrier between the puck and the shower screen, which prevents water from splashing back up.

It measures 58.5 mm in diameter and is designed for 58mm portafilters. 1.7 mm thick. 3 different designs are available.

It is very easy to clean and particularly durable. A simple rinse under water is enough.
