Why choose the Ariete Espresso Vintage 1389 coffee machine?
The Ariete Espresso Vintage 1389 coffee machine truly lives up to its name with its retro design, entirely in ABS, and its charm coming from the aviation-style buttons.
But beware, this vintage coffee machine is not only beautiful, it is also a performing beginner espresso machine. A mixed portafilter allowing you to insert a filter for two doses of ground coffee as well as a single cup filter allowing you to extract both ground coffee and ESE pods.
Water is heated using a thermoblock: the machine is ready to use quickly.
The stainless steel steam wand facilitates the creation of milk foam for your favorite milk-based drinks. It can also be used to dispense hot water.
This Ariete Vintage espresso machine is easy to use and the temperature indicators allow you to ensure that your extraction will be to your taste.

- The cup result with ground coffee is disappointing, as the brew group has a size rather suited to ESE pods
Expert's opinion:
The Ariete Vintage is a machine with a look that evokes the 60s thanks to its off-white and pale color.
Det, der betyder mest for mig, er resultatet i koppen. Problemet vedrører 58 mm filtrene, som ikke rigtig passer til størrelsen på bryggegruppen (brusehovedet er betydeligt mindre). Man får således et acceptabelt resultat med malet kaffe, men betydeligt bedre med ESE-pods.
Denne espressomaskine med vintage-look er et relevant valg til at guide nybegyndere ind i hjemmeespressos eventyr.
Jeg bemærker dog, at drypbakken mangler lidt størrelse, dens begrænsede kapacitet kræver, at man holder nøje øje med vandniveauet.
Det skal dog bemærkes, at dampdyset, der injicerer luft, er en fordel for dem, der kan lide cremede mælkedrikke, mindre for dem, der sigter mod latte art, men det er ikke denne type apparats primære formål.
