1336 (SCOP TI)
1336 Scop Ti is a French tea brand whose identity is as strong as the taste of its teas and infusions is delicious.
1336 is the number of days that the conflict lasted between the Fralib factory employees and the Anglo-Dutch multinational Unilever, the world's largest producer of ice cream and tea. Just a few kilometres from Marseille, employees fought to keep their jobs and save their Gémenos factory, which was slated for closure. After making their voices heard all summer, then the next, and the next again, and after 1336 days of exemplary mobilisation, the former Fralib employees finally won by taking over the factory as SCOP TI (Société Coopérative Ouvrière Provençale de Thés et d'Infusions) and creating the 1336 tea and infusion brand.
This iconic brand offers natural or flavoured teas and infusions, 100% natural. All are made in Gémenos near Marseille, to the gentle sound of cicadas by the cooperative's workers, passionate heirs to this incredible story.
