The Brazil coffee from Delta Cafés is a 100% Arabica ground coffee. This Portuguese roasting offers a cup with a harmonious body and marked acidity. Originating from Brazil, specifically from the Manaus region, this coffee benefits from Fair Trade certification (Rainforest Alliance).
Delta Cafés is the largest coffee roaster in Portugal. This permanent commitment to quality enabled Delta Cafés to become, as early as 1994, the first certified roasting company in Portugal. The history of the Delta Cafés brand: In 1961, Rui Nabeiro founded his own coffee business. A knowledgeable connoisseur of the coffee market and an entrepreneur at heart, he started his activity with two 30 kg roasting drums, installed in a modest 50 m² warehouse located in the village of Campo Maior, in Alentejo (southern Portugal). Today, Delta Cafés has more than 180 different professions and employs over 2100 collaborators within its roasting facility. Delta Cafés also pursues a corporate social responsibility policy. The company launched a sustainable development program aimed at providing coffee-producing regions with optimal conditions on environmental, social and economic levels. This program simultaneously aims to develop quality coffee production and ensure a healthy, responsible and sustainable industry, thereby promoting economic growth and improving the living conditions of local populations while respecting their traditions. |
