Whole bean coffee Brazil Alisios FCCO, Green Lion Coffee - 250 g
Brazil Mogiana coffee: a committed terroir arabica
From the State of São Paulo, Brazil, Brazil Alisios whole bean coffee is produced in the Mogiana region, one of the historical strongholds of national coffee cultivation, by the Serra do Ciganos cooperative.
This region takes its name from the Companhia Mogiana de Estradas de Ferro, a railway company that, in 1883, built the famous "coffee railway". This network was decisive in the development of coffee cultivation, enabling its transport to the export ports.
Located between the Atlantic rainforest and the Brazilian Cerrado, Mogiana has a hilly relief and great climatic variety. This contrast between humid zones and arid plains creates unique conditions for coffee cultivation. The abundance of sunlight stimulates leaf photosynthesis — the plant's true natural solar panels — thus promoting slow and fragrant ripening of the beans.
This arabica Mogiana, single origin, is distinguished by its natural balance and aromatic richness. It is also an FCCO certified coffee (Fresh Coffee Clean Ocean), a quality and responsibility guarantee for low ecological footprint production, respectful of ecosystems and coffee supply chains.
Green Lion Coffee: sustainable sailing transport
This responsible coffee and certified Fresh Coffee Clean Ocean, is transported by sail aboard the sailing cargo ship Anemos from the company TOWT. Propelled solely by the force of the wind, it crosses the Atlantic without using fossil fuels, offering an ecological solution to conventional maritime freight.
This eco-responsible delivery method reduces CO2 emissions by 75%, a resolute commitment to low environmental impact coffee. Unlike noisy and polluting container ships, sailing reduces noise pollution, thus preserving marine wildlife that is frequently disturbed.
By favoring renewable energy, this eco-responsible coffee frees itself from dependence on oil and traditional shipowners. It illustrates a thoughtful decision: to craft and savor a coffee that preserves the planet at every stage of its journey.
The sailing sea route connects the Brazilian coast to the port of Le Havre. It represents another vision of commerce: slower, but fairer. A committed coffee where every cup carries meaning, and whose flavor is enhanced by time, effort, and conviction.
