Discover the Origin whole bean coffee from Lugat - 250g
Origin, an exceptional single origin whole bean coffee from Brazil
For its range of dark roast whole bean coffees, Lugat opted for a single origin coffee from Brazil, grown at 600m altitude in Jacarezinho, on the Fazenda Califórnia. This farm is managed by Luiz Saldanha, agricultural engineer, MBA, certified Q-Grader and co-founder of Capricornio Coffees and Synapses Coffee Education.
Committed to sustainability, he obtained UTZ (2007) and Rainforest Alliance (2011) certifications, making his farm the first certified in the state of Paraná. Luiz worked with international experts to develop innovative fermentation methods inspired by oenology.
Fazenda Califórnia has been awarded multiple times, notably with the Cup of Excellence in 2010 and 2015, a gold medal at the Australian International Coffee Awards, and participated in the Starbucks Reserve program with a yeast-fermented lot.
