Marc Bloch, from a lineage of Alsatian peddlers, gives birth to <b>La Semeuse in 1900</b> by focusing on the importation and distribution of peanut oil. <p>A few years later, the company <b>La Semeuse</b> expands its activity by launching into <b>coffee roasting</b>.</p> <p>Since its beginnings, the team of <b>Cafés La Semeuse </b>does everything possible to ensure the taste consistency and excellence of its products. Analyses, tastings and research in development structure the daily life of the house, allowing the coffee to develop its refined aromas and distinctive flavor.</b>.</p>Created in 1900 by a French family, La Semeuse has since been a family business. From its origin, the company has maintained its anchoring in La Chaux-de-Fonds, taking advantage of its location at 1000m altitude in a high Jura valley, a determining factor in the development of the singular character of its coffees. At the time specialized in the marketing of a renowned peanut oil, the founding family opts in 1920 for the extension of this denomination to its new range of coffee. Thus were born the Cafés La Semeuse. Always, the primary objective of Cafés La Semeuse lies in the guarantee of taste consistency and excellence of its products. The brand develops exclusive and perennial recipes based on an artisanal roasting technique, allowing each consumer to find in his cup the coffee he loves and recognizes.
