An organic coffee

For several years, many producers from Latin America , Central America the Caribbean as well as certain countries in Africa have turned to organic farming.

With natural balance restored, chemicals become unnecessary. Organic farming is generally reserved for Arabica beans, which are more qualitative in taste and whose cultivation areas are naturally better preserved. The Arabicas , originating from Africa (Ethiopia) require mineral-rich soils and an altitude above 600m. Highly appreciated, this species produces very high quality elongated fruits. The higher the coffee is grown in altitude, the finer its aromas and the less chemicals are needed as pest infestation is non-existent.

These green beans of organic origin sell for approximately 40% more than others.

Over the past 5 years, the supply has considerably expanded, allowing today the offering of a beautiful diversity of pure origins with fine aromas. These different varieties and coffee terroirs have allowed our coffee experts to create very beautiful blends.

Guaranteed traceability

• The sampling and biochemical analysis of green coffee
