An organic coffee

For several years, more and more producers from Latin America , Central America , the Caribbean and some countries of Africa are converting to organic farming.

With the natural balance restored, chemicals are no longer of any use. Organic farming is mostly reserved for Arabica beans, which are more qualitatively tasteful and whose growing locations are naturally more preserved. Arabicas , native to Africa (Ethiopia), require mineral-rich soils and an altitude above 600m. Highly appreciated, this species produces very high quality elongated fruits. The higher the coffee is grown in altitude, the finer its aromas and the less chemicals are needed as parasitism is non-existent.

These green beans from organic farming are sold approximately 40% more expensive than others.

Over the last 5 years, the supply has greatly expanded, now offering a beautiful diversity of pure origins with fine aromas. These different coffee varieties and terroirs have allowed our coffeeologists to create very beautiful blends.

These Destination universal soft pods are compatible with SENSEO™ coffee makers and with all espresso machines.

These pods are specially adapted for soft pod machines and for pump percolators (pressure greater than or equal to 10 bars).

These   Destination pods are totally transparent regarding their origin, processing and content. For this, a number of criteria are met:

• The physical control of plantations by international organizations
• The sampling and biochemical analysis of green coffee
• The identification and traceability from earth to cup (International lot number and import authorization)
• The precise production accounting so that each lot is identifiable from supply to consumer.
