The optimal cleaning protocol for your professional espresso machine

NOTE : Certain steps outlined below necessitate a professional or semi-professional espresso machine featuring "backflushable" backflushable " functionality ( equipped with rinse button ).
Should uncertainty exist regarding your espresso machine's specifications, consult your manufacturer prior to proceeding.
For machines lacking "backflushable " professional or semi-professional capabilities, restrict your actions to step 4 exclusively .

 
   
  1. Position the rubber blind filter straight onto your filter
  2. Apply a measured dose of Puly CAFF detergent onto your rubber filter,
  3. Secure the filter holder to the espresso machine and initiate the rinsing sequence according to your detergent packaging guidelines. (Typically 5 cycles lasting 3 seconds each),
  4. Flush the system and activate the group without the filter holder attached, simultaneously scrubbing the corners using the Coffee Tool. This method maximizes Coffee Tool effectiveness, as the flowing hot water assists in removing coffee grounds and resin. The Coffee Tool's benefits are clear: its ergonomic configuration keeps your hands safely distant from heat sources,
  5. Perform another machine rinse, this time omitting detergent, and replicate step # 4
  6. Clear the steam holes obstructed by milk residue or foreign particles (rust, limescale accumulation, etc...),
  7. Employ the Coffee Tool periodically during daily operations to maintain group cleanliness and safeguard your espresso's flavor profile.
