Composed of the Caturra and Catuai varieties, this coffee benefits from an exceptional terroir, with fertile soils and a altitude ranging between 1,400 and 2,200 meters, in perfect climatic conditions. It features delicate flavors, combining indulgent aromas and hints of yellow fruits.

This organic and ecological coffee is produced without chemicals, through the use of handmade organic fertilizers and insecticides . The producers, committed to sustainable practices, prioritize soil preservation, varied shade and the implementation of living hedges. In addition to its Fairtrade label, it comes from the Asproguate cooperative, created in 2014, which supports 100 local producers. Through gender equity, by combating child labor, and by providing courses on financial management, well-being and nutrition, this cooperative promotes fair and ethical trade.

From its beginnings, La Semeuse remained attached to its place of origin, La Chaux-de-Fonds, for its location at 1000 meters altitude in a high valley of the Jura, essential to the development of the singular taste of its coffees. At the time specialized in the marketing of a renowned peanut oil, the founding family decided in 1920 to give the same name to its coffee brand. Thus were born the Cafés La Semeuse. Since always, the priority of Cafés La Semeuse is to ensure the regularity of taste and the excellence of its coffees. The brand offers unique and timeless recipes with an artisanal roasting method, so that each customer finds in their cup the coffee they appreciate and know.
