Lovers of cold brew? cold brew coffee is the perfect drink during hot weather, both stimulating and refreshing! This carafe was designed and created by Giulio Iacchetti, Italian designer.
How to make cold brew coffee? Place your ground coffee (medium grind) in the filter of the Cold Brew coffee maker and pour cold or room temperature water evenly and gradually to properly moisten all the grounds. Close the carafe then let it steep for at least eight hours in the refrigerator. You will obtain optimal extraction with this method.
The hourglass or funnel silhouette perfectly adapts to the cold brew method, it facilitates the pouring of water, which then passes through the filter by percolation.
The walls of this carafe are made of borosilicate glass and its filter is made of stainless steel 18/10. Its maintenance is done by hand, but you can clean its lid, cap and filter in the dishwasher.
cold brew, in French café infusé à froid, is a particular coffee brewing and extraction method. It consists of steeping ground coffee for at least eight hours in cold or room temperature water. Although the coffee steeps for long hours, it is not over-extracted. This technique preserves the coffee from oxidation, as it is not in contact with hot water, you will obtain a powerful and very pleasant drink.
The name given to this product, Mazagran, finds its origin in a small Algerian town where the Cold Brew technique is said to have originated. A beautiful tribute to this magnificent discovery!
