The espresso machine Dream is the iconic model of the ASCASO brand, coffee machines designed for domestic use in 2000. The Dream PID is a more complete version than the original Dream.

Without touching its beautiful retro aesthetic silhouette and its color universe, with the Dream PID; Ascaso has evolved its technology to obtain the perfect cup of coffee at home. A machine built with the highest quality materials (aluminium, stainless steel, brass) and minimal plastic use.

The PID version offers professional performance : 58 mm diameter stainless steel portafilter and filters, externally adjustable OPV and external PID display for temperature setting, adjustable pre-infusion, stand-by option and much more. All Ascaso Dream espresso machines are handmade in Barcelona, with a beautiful all-aluminium bodywork. After polishing, the machine is treated with a high-quality varnish (the same coating used in Formula 1 and on boats), with a range of colors in matte finish

The advantages of the ASCASO Dream PID espresso machine

The Insulated Thermoblock designed by Ascaso is made of aluminium and stainless steel. This rapid heating system has several advantages:

- The water stays clean, because it is constantly renewed for each coffee. The taste and smell of coffee are not affected. As the water does not remain in the boiler, being constantly reheated, the quality is not affected.

- Thermal stability and cup quality: thanks to its large capacity and its internal pipe measuring over one meter long. All this is optimized with electronic temperature control (PID).

- The AISI 316 stainless steel water circuit which guarantees no metal migration into the water.

- Less limescale buildup: the stainless steel circuit facilitates cleaning and limits limescale buildup.

- Unlimited steam supply and constant pressurefor faster heating and better thermal stability.

ThePID that allows you to manage several things :

- Extraction temperature
- Steam temperature

- Theadjustable pre-infusion(from 0 to 5 seconds)
- Thedigital displayis also a timer for extraction

The machine has anadjustable OPVas well as a3-way solenoid valveallowing depressurization, which will make your coffee puck drier. The pressure is controlled using the gauge located on the front panel.

Versatility to evolve in the world of espresso

The Ascaso Dream PID espresso machine comes withsingle filtersone and two cups for using freshly ground coffee with asuitable espresso grinder, pressurized filtersone and two cups to be able to use the machine with pre-ground coffee or coffee ground with a basic grinder, and afilter for ESE pods.

Thesteam wandCool Touchin stainless steel multidirectionalwill allow you to create beautiful milk foam and practice Latte Art.

The stainless steel portafilter ensures thermal stability for your coffee and its professional (inner) diameter of 58 mm guaranteestenfold extraction qualitycompared to older versions.

Afront panel gaugewill help you keep an eye on the boiler pressure during extraction.

The1.3 L water tankhas a good capacity. Bonus: it is illuminated by aLED. Use thecup warmerlocated on the machine to place your cups and avoid thermal shock during coffee extraction.
