Ascaso Steel Uno PID with wood finish is an espresso machine designed for pleasure, whether visual or taste.
Heating is very fast and economical, the new Thermoblock is insulated, this allows to keep the advantages of fast heating while improving thermal stability.
This thermal stability is further enhanced thanks to the electronic board linked to the PID. And this point is just one example among all the assets for customizing its use:
- Extraction temperature
- Steam temperature
- Adjustable pressure by OPV
- Adjustable pre-infusion (from 0 to 5 seconds)
- The digital screen is also a timer for extraction
A group pressure gauge is located on the front panel and allows you to check, at a glance, the proper progress of your extraction. The extraction is also made even more beautiful thanks to the two LED lights located on each side of the brass coffee group.
In addition, the buttons also allow you to manage a programmable volumetric distribution easily.
The insulated Thermoblock designed by Ascaso is made of aluminum and stainless steel. This rapid heating system has several advantages:
- The water stays clean, because it is constantly renewed for each coffee. The taste and smell of coffee are not altered. Since the water does not remain in the boiler, being constantly reheated, the quality is not impacted.
- Thermal stability and quality in the cup: thanks to its large capacity and its internal pipe measuring more than one meter long. Everything is optimized with electronic temperature control (PID).
- The AISI 316 stainless steel water circuit which guarantees no metal migration into the water.
- Less limescale buildup : the stainless steel circuit is easy to clean and reduces limescale buildup.
- Unlimited steam supply and constant pressure for faster heating and better thermal stability.
The PID which allows you to manage several things :
- The extraction temperature
- The steam temperature
- The adjustable pre-infusion (from 0 to 5 seconds)
- Thedigital display is also a timer for extraction
The machine has an adjustable OPV as well as a 3-way solenoid valve allowing depressurization, which will make your coffee puck drier. The pressure is controlled using the gauge located on the front.
In terms of equipment, this Ascaso Steel Uno PID is not left behind:
- The portafilter handle, as well as the steam knob are made of wood,
- The cup warmer is active (38w) and linked to its own resistor,
- Professional group in brass,
- Steam wand in insulated stainless steel (Cool Touch) !
The steam wand allows you to make like a barista, beautiful and delicious cappuccinos simply and quickly by perfectly mixing steam, air and milk in order to obtain a creamy foam
This Ascaso Steel Uno PID is truly versatile and allows, thanks to the included filters, to extract from ESE pods (thanks to the dedicated filter) or ground coffee (thanks to the two pressurized filters and two single filters). A blind filter is also included for backflush.
The stainless steel portafilter ensures thermal stability for your coffee and its diameter (inner) professional 58 mm ensures a tenfold extraction quality compared to older versions.
The large 2-liter water tank will allow you to chain numerous extractions!
