Following the success of the Encore model, Baratza developed the Encore ESP coffee grinder, better suited for espresso grinding.
The 40 mm conical steel burrs of M2 type are produced in Europe. They ensure uniform grinding.
The dual adjustment system is innovative. It offers micro-steps from 1 to 20 for grinding coffee with great fineness (ideal for espresso) and macro-steps from 21 to 40 for coarser extraction methods, such as filter coffee.
The new internal metal components provide beautiful consistency and long-lasting operation.
The Baratza Encore ESP grinder features a unique speed control, which drives the burr rotation at 550 RPM. This reduced speed helps limit heat (to avoid burning the coffee), noise and static electricity production.
Grinding speed : 1.5 g/sec - 2.4 g/sec
Each Baratza Encore ESP grinder is precisely calibrated at the factory, so that each grinder is consistent and high-performing.
This Baratza Encore ESP grinder offers 2 distinct operating modes : the On/Off button and the pulse button.
With the On/Off button, simply position the button on the desired function to start or stop grinding.
The "pulse" button is located on the front: the Encore ESP grinder will operate as long as you hold the button down and will stop grinding when you release it.
The Baratza Encore ESP allows grinding into the dosing cup supplied 54 mm antistatic (with a 58 mm adapter), to cleanly transfer the ground coffee into your espresso machine's portafilter.
A small tray is included to achieve the optimal distance between the cup and the distribution spout, in order to minimize losses.

The Baratza Encore ESP grinder is also supplied with a 300 g bean hopper, a 120 g ground coffee container and a cleaning brush.
