With an ultra-precise 57.3 mm diameter and a flat base, this base has been designed to ensure the tamping of all the grind contained in your filter.

When a classic coffee tamper does not reach the edge of the filter sufficiently (resulting in significant grind loss), the Baristator tamper allows you to tamp the entirety of the weighed grind. And you know it: when it comes to espresso, precision makes all the difference!

The Baristator tamper has been designed to fit 57 mm diameter filters, but it will not be compatible with single-cup filters.

A carefully studied base shape

Its shape differs from the usual "rectangular" tampers, and this choice is not aesthetic: once again, it is about optimizing efficiency.

Thanks to its diameter that prevents any grind loss, the question of air suction arises: where a classic coffee tamper (with a diameter as precise as that of the Baristator) would cause the grind to lift by suction effect, the Baristator tamper allows air to circulate gradually and thus avoids any air pressure imbalance.
