With its ultra-precise diameter of 57.3 mm and flat base, this base has been designed to ensure complete tamping of the grind contained in your filter.

When a classic coffee tamper does not reach sufficiently to the edge of the filter (resulting in considerable grind loss), the Baristator tamper allows you to tamp the entire weighed grind. And you know, when it comes to espresso, precision makes all the difference!

The Baristator tamper has been designed to fit filters with a diameter of 57 mm, but it will not be compatible with single-cup filters.

A carefully studied base shape

Its shape differs from traditional "rectangular" tampers, and this choice is not purely aesthetic: here again, it is about optimizing efficiency.

Thanks to its diameter that prevents any grind loss, the question of air suction may arise: where a conventional coffee tamper (with a diameter as precise as that of the Baristator) would cause the grind to lift by suction effect, the Baristator tamper allows gradual air circulation and thus avoids any pressure imbalance.

The Baristator tamper is a tool developed in collaboration with recognized barista champions, in order to perfectly meet the requirements for extracting your espressos. The wooden handle has a perfectly ergonomic shape to suit everyone, and its texture ensures easy and non-slip grip, guaranteeing a precise gesture.

The stainless steel base has a substantial weight (257.5 g) in high-quality steel and the logo has been laser engraved using a specific technique to eliminate any grind retention.
