With its ultra-precise 58.6 mm diameter and flat bottom, the stainless steel base of this Baristator calibrated tamper was designed to tamp all the ground coffee in your filter.

A classic coffee tamper doesn't get close enough to the edge of your filter (causing significant grounds loss). This Baristator tamper solves this problem with its wider diameter.

This calibrated tamper is suitable for manual espresso machines equipped with a 58 mm brew group.

A carefully designed base shape

Its calibrated handle allows you to achieve tamping with the same precision throughout your day. This guarantees identical extraction, regardless of the force level applied during tamping.

This Baristator calibrated tamper is configurable: unscrew the end of the handle to adjust the pressure to apply.

Its shape differs from classic "rectangular" tampers, and this is not a matter of aesthetics, but again, a matter of efficiency.

Its diameter prevents any grounds loss, but the vacuum issue may then arise: where a classic coffee tamper would cause grounds to lift due to suction effect, the Baristator calibrated tamper allows air to circulate gradually, to avoid any air pressure imbalance.
