BARISTATOR 58.6mm Pro Tamper - Black Wood & Stainless Steel

A perfect diameter!

This base features an ultra-precise diameter of 58,6 mm with a flat bottom, specifically designed to ensure complete tamping of the ground coffee contained in your filter.

Unlike a classic coffee tamper that doesn't reach the edges of the filter sufficiently (resulting in significant ground coffee loss), the Baristator tamper allows you to compact the entirety of the weighed ground coffee. Precision is a crucial element for achieving a successful espresso!

Designed to fit professional diameter filters (58 mm), the Baristator tamper is however not compatible with single-cup filters.

A carefully studied base shape

Its silhouette differs from traditional "rectangular" tampers, and this choice is not about aesthetics but rather operational efficiency.

Thanks to its diameter that prevents any ground coffee loss, the air suction issue naturally arises: where a conventional coffee tamper (even with a diameter as precise as the Baristator's) would create a suction effect lifting the ground coffee, the Baristator tamper allows for gradual air circulation and thus prevents any pressure imbalance.

Developed in collaboration with renowned barista champions, the Baristator tamper perfectly meets the extraction requirements of espressos. The wooden handle features a refined ergonomics adapted to all hand sizes, and its texture ensures a stable grip without slipping for a controlled movement.

The stainless steel base has a substantial weight (257,5 g) in premium-grade steel, with the logo laser-engraved using a specific technique that eliminates ground coffee retention.
