A carefully studied base shape
Its shape is different from classic "rectangular" tampers, and this is not for looks, but once again, for efficiency.
Its diameter allowing to avoid any grounds loss, the question of air suction may arise: where a classic coffee tamper (assuming a diameter as precise as the Baristator) would cause the grounds to lift by suction effect, the Baristator tamper allows air to circulate gradually and therefore avoids any air pressure imbalance.
The Baristator tamper is a tool developed with recognized barista champions, to perfectly meet the needs for extracting your espressos. The black aluminum handle is designed with a perfectly ergonomic shape to suit everyone, and its texture allows for easy grip, without slipping, ensuring a precise gesture.
Instead of using teflon which is not quite food-safe, this tamper uses Xylane for its non-stick coating. The stainless steel base is therefore covered with xylane and the logo was laser-etched with a particular technique to make grounds retention null.
