With its remarkably precise 58.6 mm diameter and its flat bottom, the stainless steel base of this Baristator calibrated tamper has been designed to compact all the ground coffee contained in your filter.

A classic coffee tamper does not sufficiently reach the edges of your filter (which causes considerable ground coffee loss). This Baristator tamper solves this problem with its larger diameter.

This calibrated tamper is compatible with filters from manual espresso machines equipped with a 58 mm extraction group.

An optimized base design

Its calibrated handle allows you to ensure tamping with perfect consistency throughout your service. This guarantees constant extraction, regardless of the pressure intensity you apply during tamping.

This Baristator calibrated tamper is customizable: unscrew the end of the handle to adjust the pressure to be applied.

Its silhouette differs from the usual "rectangular" tampers, and this choice is not aesthetic: once again, it's a matter of efficiency.

Its diameter prevents any ground coffee loss, but the risk of air suction can then emerge: where a conventional coffee tamper would cause the ground coffee to lift by suction effect, the Baristator calibrated tamper allows for gradual air circulation, preventing any atmospheric pressure imbalance.
