The Delonghi bean-to-cup espresso machine ECAM 220.21.B features a stretched touch interface, greatly facilitating adjustments. The controls are distinguished by colorless pictograms. 

You can adjust the temperature of your drinks as well as the aromatic intensity of your coffee. Three levels of customization are available for each parameter.

The integrated grinder has 13 adjustment settings, offering you total control of the granulometry.

This machine features a steam wand. This allows you to obtain (in addition to coffees) hot water for your teas and infusions, but above all to create a velvety milk foam to make delicious milky drinks.

The maintenance of the Magnifica Start bean-to-cup coffee machine

Maintaining your Delonghi Magnifica coffee machine is an essential step to preserve your bean-to-cup espresso machine over time. Neglecting maintenance leads to the accumulation of residues and limescale, likely to degrade the quality in the cup.

1. Cleaning: it is recommended to rinse the brewing unit weekly with lukewarm water to remove coffee grounds
2. Filtration: using a filter cartridge purifies the taste of water while limiting scaling
3. Descaling: perform this operation approximately every 2 months to eliminate limescale that accumulates on the heating system as well as on the extraction nozzles. A dose of descaler is provided with the appliance.
