Dammann Frères offers this Organic Breakfast Black Tea to accompany your breakfast. Grown according to organic farming principles in Rwanda, it is characterized by a lighter bitterness than classic teas.
To prepare this Breakfast Black Tea, use water heated to 90 degrees Celsius. This optimal temperature allows the leaves to rehydrate and express their aromas. A higher temperature would accentuate the bitterness. Let your sachet steep for 4 minutes. You can soften the bitterness with a few drops of milk. Note that in Rwanda, a tradition consists of steeping the leaves directly in milk.
