Rocket 8 cleaning tablets for Espresso Machine Group

The Cafetto Cleaner for Rocket coffee machineswill help you preserve your Rocket in excellent condition over the years. This operation is essential to ensure optimal maintenance of your machine and guarantee flavorful drinks with the authentic taste of coffee.

HOW TO USE THE ROCKET CAFETTO CLEANING TABLETS?

For cleaning the group head:

• Every week, following backflushing, insert a detergent tabletCafetto Rocketto remove accumulated espresso residues from the blind basket. Dissolve it in hot water then place the portafilter in the group head.
• Activate the brew lever then deactivate it after about 10 seconds. Repeat this operation several times.
• Evacuate the Cafetto Rocket cleaner from the basket then proceed to a backflush with water only,
• until the detergent residues are completely evacuated from the group head.

For cleaning the shower screen and the group head gasket:

• Use the rounded end of a 12 mm adjustment screw to unlock the shower screen and the group head.
• Unscrew the brass spacer located inside the group head using a short-blade screwdriver.
• Clean the inside of the group head with the cleaning brush specially provided for this task.
• Using a damp cloth, clean the area where the portafilter inserts into the group head.
• Soak the disassembled metal parts (shower screen, brass spacer) in a solution prepared with 2Cafetto Rocket cleaning tabletsfor descaling espresso residues and hot water. Let soak for 10 minutes. Rinse, dry and reinstall them.
• Use the portafilter to reinstall the shower screen, located above the head gasket, inside the group head. The chamfer on the gasket must be facing upward.
• When the head gasket becomes fragile or when the shower screen shows perforations, they must be replaced. These components are consumables.
