HOW TO USE CAFETTO BIO CLEANER?

For cleaning the group head:

• Every week, after backflushing, add a small dose of detergentCafetto Bioto eliminate espresso residues present in the blind basket. Dissolve it in hot water then insert the portafilter into the group head.
• Activate the brew lever then stop after about 10 seconds. Repeat this operation several times.
• Empty theCafetto cleanerBiocontained in the basket, then perform a backflush with water only, until the detergent residues are completely evacuated from the group head.

For cleaning the shower screen and group head gasket:

• Use the rounded end of a 12 mm adjustment screw to unclog the shower screen and group head.
• Unscrew the brass spacer located inside the group head using a short-blade screwdriver.
• Clean the inside of the group head using the cleaning brush specially provided for this purpose.
• Using a damp cloth, clean the area where the portafilter locks into the group head.
• Soak the disassembled metal parts (Shower screen, brass spacer) in a solution composed of 2 teaspoons ofCafetto cleaner Bioto eliminate espresso residues and hot water. Let soak for 10 minutes. Rinse, dry and reinstall them.
• Use the portafilter to reinstall the shower screen, positioned above the head gasket, inside the group head. The chamfer present on the gasket must be oriented upwards.
• When the head gasket becomes brittle or the shower screen is perforated, they must be replaced. These elements are consumables.

For cleaning the portafilter:

• Remove the filter basket from the portafilter handle using a small screwdriver or from the underside of the blind basket.
• Wipe the inside of the basket and portafilter with a damp cloth.
• If coffee oils have deposited, soak the metal end of the portafilter and the basket in theCafetto cleanerBio,as described previously.
• Rinse thoroughly, dry and reinstall it.
