TheDelonghi Magnifica coffee machineThis machine focuses on a limited selection of coffee drinks, offering only two choices: espresso and long coffee, available in one or two cups. It also features a dedicated nozzle for heating and frothing milk, operating according to the ring position. You can thus enjoy excellent hot chocolates and creamy cappuccinos. Note that the 22.127.B is equipped with a ground coffee chute, ideal for occasionally preparing decaffeinated coffee.

Customizing your coffee becomes child's play with the central button, which allows you to adjust the intensity by modifying the amount of ground coffee. The integrated grinder offers 13 adjustment levels, allowing you to obtain a finer or coarser grind according to your preferences and the variety of coffee chosen. The extraction temperature can be set to three positions: low, medium, or high. Finally, the ability to prepare two coffees simultaneously during a single brewing is a rare advantage in this price category, ensuring appreciable speed during your gatherings.

The extraction quality of the DeLonghi 22.127.B coffee machine

The coffee produced by the Magnifica 22.127.B is clearly excellent, approaching the perfect espresso. This coffee machine delivers in the cup a balanced result, perhaps slightly too hot (89°C) but which does not burn the aromas and therefore does not induce any bitterness.

Furthermore, the milk result is a real success. Its steam nozzle equipped with a variator allows optimized air intake facilitating the creation of milk foam. You will very easily obtain a fine and creamy foam.
We recommend using very fresh milk (around 4°C) and rich in protein for a more flavorful foam.

Maintenance of the Magnifica 22.127.B bean-to-cup coffee machine

Owning a good machine is essential. Having the coffee beans that suit you is ideal. But regularly maintaining your appliance is just as crucial, both for the longevity of your equipment and to maintain optimal quality in the cup. Neglecting the maintenance of your coffee machine leads to the accumulation of deposits (particularly limescale) likely to degrade the result in the cup.

1. The cleaning : we recommend performing weekly cleaning of the brewing unit with lukewarm water to remove coffee grounds and residual fats. Also remember to regularly clean all containers (dishwasher compatible).
2. The filtration : use a filter cartridge to eliminate limescale particles present in the water and purify its taste, thus preserving the integrity of your coffee's aromas.
3. The descaling : to be performed approximately every 2 months to eliminate limescale that accumulates on the heating system and the extraction nozzles of your Magnifica S 22.127.B (even with the use of a filter cartridge). A dose of descaler is provided with the machine.
4. The milk system : don't forget to purge your nozzle before and after each use to avoid milk deposits.
