La machine à café à grain LatteSelect® 630-211 dispose d'un double affichage. Son panneau de commande tactile donne accès direct à des boissons comme l'expresso, le café long, le lait chaud, le latte macchiato, le cappuccino et l'eau chaude.

Son écran TFT couleur se pilote à l'aide de la molette située à droite de la buse café. Il sera possible d'accéder aux autres boissons disponibles sur la machine. L'affichage sur l'écran permet de régler la longueur en tasse entre 25 et 220 ml, l'intensité sur 4 niveaux et de configurer les différentes boissons par profil.

L'expresso broyeur est équipé d'un broyeur conique en acier ultra-silencieux développé par Melitta. Il garantit la tranquillité lors de la préparation de vos boissons.

Avant d'aborder la grande diversité des boissons, il est important de souligner leur qualité. La fonction Aromatic Coffee Enjoyment assure pendant l'extraction un contact optimal entre la mouture et l'eau pour un résultat plus aromatique.

La pression lors de l'extraction est associée à la modification de l'intensité et la finesse de mouture. Chaque étape influence le résultat en tasse. La finesse de la mouture agit sur l'équilibre entre acidité et amertume. La force du café (intensité) dépend de la quantité de café extrait pour votre café.

Simplified maintenance of the Melitta bean-to-cup espresso machine

The Melitta brand designed the LatteSelect model with accessible and easy-to-perform maintenance steps. The TFT screen will guide you through the following maintenance steps:

• The brewing unit: After each preparation, coffee grind residues stagnate in the brewing unit. If these residues are not removed regularly, they will alter the aromas of your coffee. For its maintenance, simply turn off the machine, open the flap on the right side, remove the unit and rinse it under lukewarm water once a week. Once dry, reposition it in the machine, you will not need to use any product.
• The descaling: maintaining the brewing unit preserves the aromas of your coffee but descaling protects your machine from limescale that can damage the internal circuit. The frequency of this maintenance depends on the amount of coffee you make, however it is estimated that it should be performed every 2 to 3 months. To perform it, you will need to equip yourself with a descaler and follow the instructions displayed on the machine screen.
• The filter cartridge: The LatteSelect® 630-211 bean-to-cup coffee machine is compatible with Pro Aqua filter cartridges. It is important to use it if you fill your machine with tap water. It purifies water from particles and part of the limescale. You will fully enjoy the aromas of your coffee.
• The milk system: The preparation system as well as the reservoir are dishwasher compatible. You can after each preparation store the carafe in the refrigerator, however it is recommended to leave it for a maximum of 48 hours before a complete cleaning preferably with a suitable detergent.
