The P5 Espro French press combines all the advantages of a classic French Press with valuable innovations. It features the patented Safety Lock system: this device ensures glass 40% thicker than on a standard coffee maker. Designed by German manufacturer Schott-Duran, it aims to provide secure coffee makers. Combined with a wide black ABS handle, this system allows you to serve coffee without risk of burns.
The P5 Espro is equipped with a double filtration system that extracts coffee with fully expressed flavors, without any residue to disturb the tasting. It is also possible to insert a specific P5 paper filter between the two filters. This option allows you to obtain an ultra-clear and oil-free coffee, comparable to a pour-over coffee.
The "pour-over" represents a return to basics. It is a coffee to be savored, rather than a coffee to be quickly swallowed. Its preparation requires a little more time than with a filter coffee maker.
