This coffee maker is entirely manual: it requires no electricity, no batteries, no cells... An additional asset for environmentally conscious coffee lovers. This French gem works on the same principle as a bicycle: to get a creamy coffee, you won't need to pedal, but rather build up the machine pressure until reaching 16 bars. To do this, operate the pump as if you were inflating a bike tire.
Don't worry, the other steps of coffee preparation are less tiring. Once 16 bars are reached, you will need to pour hot water (minimum 90° Celsius) into the Pump.
Then, place some coffee : an ESE pod or pre-ground coffee.
Press the button, and ... that's it.
