This dripper SSD-200-B by Hario offers the possibility to adapt your extraction according to your preferences. A conventional dripper ensures regulated flow through grind fineness. The Dripper Switch incorporates a stopper at its base to hold the coffee in order to develop distinct aromas as well as a particular bitterness. When the desired extraction time is reached, simply activate the lever so the liquid flows directly into the cup.
Position the dripper on a cup, insert the compatible conical filter, activate the lever and pour preheated water at 93° C (depending on the selected coffee). This phase is essential to moisten, rinse the filter and warm the container to avoid any temperature loss. Empty the container before continuing and return the lever to raised position. Place approximately 45 grams of coffee in the filter and pour 750 ml of water in circular motion. After 30 seconds, use a spatula to stir the surface so that the coffee is completely moistened and a fine foam forms. The total extraction time depends on your personal preferences, it should ideally be around 4 minutes. Once finished, activate the lever and enjoy your coffee.
