The accessory Drip Assist from the Hario brand was designed by 2013 World Barista Champion Pete Licata to achieve an identical flow with every extraction. 

The Drip Assist is placed on your V60, once you have put the filter and ground coffee.

Thanks to its two types of holes with different diameters, you can pour at two distinct speeds. Even using a less precise pouring method, such as the wide spout of a standard or electric kettle, the water flows at a constant rate, thus ensuring a delicious result in the cup.
