The manual Illy X1 Anniversary ESE & Ground espresso machine is the work of designer Luca Trazzi, a nod to the magnificent Italian espresso machines of the 60s.

Elegant and compact, the Illy Anniversary ESE & Ground is the perfect machine for coffee enthusiasts beginning their espresso adventure.

Highly versatile, it allows you to use ground coffee, but also ESE pods which are compostable.

The Illy Anniversary ESE & Ground espresso machine features a high-performance thermoblock for ultra-fast heating time as well as an ECO mode to reduce your energy consumption and minimize waiting time between each extraction.

This machine was produced in Europe with materials selected for their longevity (notably a stainless steel body) and 100% recyclable packaging.

A simple and versatile Illy espresso machine

The Illy Anniversary ESE & Ground espresso machine features a stainless steel brew group ensuring excellent thermal stability.

Its portafilter has an internal mechanism to promote a beautiful crema and reproduce the effect of a pressurized filter. No need for a high-end grinder to use freshly ground coffee.

It comes with 2 filters: a dual-use single cup filter, for ground coffee or ESE pods, a two-cup filter (to make 2 espressos or a double in the same cup for example).

The Illy Anniversary ESE & Ground features aviator-style lever buttons to select your coffee (one or two cups) but also to dispense hot water if you wish to lengthen your coffee.

Thanks to the programmable volume function, you can easily memorize the cup length of your coffee according to your preferences.

Obtain beautiful milk foams thanks to the assisted steam wand controlled by a lever positioned on the side.

Its compact 1-liter water tank is located at the back of the machine.
