• The filter cartridge:This bean-to-cup espresso machine accepts the new generation of filter cartridge, theClaris Smart +. It eliminates impurities present in tap water. Purified water allows aromas to fully express themselves.
• The brewing unit:With each extraction, coffee oil and grind residues remain in the extraction chamber. These deposits eventually alter the taste of your coffee and give it a stale flavor. Using detergent tablets eliminates these residues. This operation is recommended approximately every 10 days.
• Descaling:Using aClaris Smart +filter cartridge makes descaling unnecessary. If you do not use aClaris Smart +filter cartridge, descaling becomes mandatory. This essential operation protects your appliance from limescale. Otherwise, limescale may clog the internal circuit and cause leaks.
• The milk system: Rinsing after each use is strongly recommended, as well as weekly cleaning with detergent to eliminate bacteria.
