Good maintenance is essential to maintain stable performance, perfect hygiene, and extend the lifespan of your machine. In addition to preserving extraction quality, it prevents costly breakdowns due to limescale or blockages.

• Descaling: perform it with the tablets or products recommended by JURA. Frequency varies depending on water hardness and machine alerts, generally every 2 to 3 months.
• Filter cartridge: the JURA E8 uses the CLARIS Smart+ filter, to be replaced approximately every 2 months or according to the machine's indication. It helps reduce limescale and improves water taste.
• Cleaning: the brewing chamber is accessible for manual cleaning. The milk system has an automatic cleaning after each use. The bean container is cleaned dry to avoid moisture. The grounds container, water tank, and drip tray must be emptied and rinsed regularly to prevent deposits.
