The JURA CLARIS Smart+ filter cartridge features a layer of natural active ingredients at its lower end, stabilizing the water in the tank and minimizing deposits of limescale at the bottom.
The system operates by upward displacement, precisely filtering the required amount of water for each cup of coffee through ion exchange. Equipped with modern RFID technology, the cartridge communicates with the coffee machine via the intelligent water system (I.W.S.®), allowing the machine to automatically detect the presence of a filter and switch to filter mode.
When the filtration capacity is exhausted, the machine signals that it is time to replace the filter and activates descaling mode if necessary, thus preventing handling errors.
To maximize the cartridge's lifespan, it is recommended to assess the water hardness and program it into the machine, with variable filtration capacity depending on water hardness:

JURA tablets, phosphate-free and TÜV certified, guarantee impeccable hygiene while preserving the environment. Designed for JURA automatic machines, they are not suitable for aluminum coffee makers.

TÜV certified and phosphate-free, these tablets are environmentally friendly while extending the life of your appliance. The composition includes sodium carbonate, sodium citrate and sodium percarbonate.
