The lid features a sealing gasket that preserves coffee beans from oxidation. The drip tray slides forward to release access to the puck container. The height-adjustable coffee spout accommodates cups up to 13 cm.

The KF6, KitchenAid bean-to-cup machine, offers up to 15 customizable recipes. Espresso enthusiasts will easily find their balance in the cup thanks to the multiple settings offered. The grind fineness allows achieving harmony between acidity and bitterness on 7 positions. Temperature and intensity are adjustable on 3 levels. Coffee strength is adjustable on 5 positions to give body to your drink.

During our tests of the machine, we immediately appreciated a beautiful thick hazelnut-colored crema, obtained with a medium grind setting. The result in the cup is impeccable, achieved with a medium roast as for all our tests.

The appliance also offers milk-based drinks prepared via a milk tube to immerse in the container of your choice. Each drink is customizable in temperature and quantity.

KF6, bean-to-cup machine: multiple technologies

The bean container removes easily, allowing you to change coffee with complete simplicity with a slight retention of 9.6 g in the grinder. To avoid any mixing, the machine features a purge function that empties the grinder of residual coffee. To prepare a decaffeinated, you can also use the ground coffee chute.

This machine is certified Quiet Mark, guaranteeing quieter extraction, a point we particularly valued during our tests.

The espresso grinder features a Thermocoil heating system to have water at temperature quickly, which allows the machine to be ready to prepare a drink in 40 seconds.

Maintenance of the KF6 bean-to-cup espresso machine

Regular maintenance is necessary to maintain drink quality. The bean-to-cup espresso machine guides you step by step thanks to its 2.4 inch screen.

• Descaling:protects the appliance from limescale, its frequency varies depending on the water quality used and the volume of drinks prepared. On average, it is recommended to descale every 2 to 3 months.
• The brew group:After each extraction, the puck is ejected into the grounds container, only grinding residues remain and alter the taste of the coffee. It is important to clean the extraction chamber every week by rinsing it under not too hot water.
• The filter cartridge:The KF6 bean-to-cup espresso machine is compatible with Brita cartridges. It purifies water and allows you to fully enjoy the aromas of your coffee. To maintain its effectiveness, the cartridge must be replaced every two months.
• The milk tube: The bean-to-cup espresso machine has an automatic milk system cleaning. The milk tube connects to the cup rest. The machine takes care of cleaning and disinfecting the system.
