Coffee tailored to your preferences! The multiple settings of the Oslo machine will allow you to enhance the coffee aromas according to your tastes. The grind quantity influences the intensity of your beverage, you can adjust it on 3 levels. The temperature can be set from 86° to 95° in 3-degree increments. For optimal settings according to your tastes, it is also possible to modify the cup length in 5 ml increments.

During our tests, we appreciated the handling of each type of adjustment offered by the bean-to-cup espresso machine. Extraction control is the major asset of this machine with a perfectly successful result in the cup. Adjusting the extraction temperature also allows you to modulate the presence of bitterness in the cup.

Maintenance of the Kottea CK320 bean-to-cup espresso machine

Machine maintenance is carried out in a few steps, it is recommended to follow the instructions and frequency advised in the manual.

• The descaling: For its maintenance, it is recommended to use a specific descaling agent that will eliminate limescale deposits present in the internal circuit of the appliance. Limescale buildup can cause leaks, a drop in beverage temperature, as well as excessive power consumption. The appliance alerts you via a descaling message displayed on the screen.
• The brewing chamber: This is where the coffee extraction takes place. The coffee puck is then ejected into the grounds container. Residues may persist and, in the long term, alter the aromas of your coffee. It is recommended to rinse it with lukewarm water weekly, let it dry completely before reinstalling it in the appliance.
• The filter cartridge: It plays an essential role for the aromas of your coffee, providing taste neutrality to your water. The filter cartridge also removes impurities present in the water and part of the limescale. Its use is highly recommended! Replacement should be carried out every 2 months.
• The grounds container: It can hold 10 pucks, if your consumption is regular, you can wait for the appliance to signal that it is full. Otherwise, it is preferable not to exceed 3 days before emptying and cleaning it.
