This capsule machine stands out for its contemporary and original aesthetic, which will appeal to those looking for an alternative to classic models. Its lateral footprint remains reasonable, although it requires some depth. The water tank displays a satisfactory capacity (1.3 L), ensuring appreciable autonomy for a pod machine. Its rounded shape, however, prevents it from being placed flat once filled.
The Neo pods are a revelation. Beyond the brand's innovative approach — these fully compostable pods decompose in 6 months — the range of drinks offered is varied and their preparation is lightning fast. Note the absence of a decaffeinated version. That said, while Neo pods ensure remarkable taste quality, freshly ground coffee beans (as on abean-to-cup coffee machine) allow for a richer aroma extraction, and the immense diversity of available beans caters to all preferences.
The device performs an automatic rinse after each service, ensuring impeccable circuits for your next drink; the downside being that the rinse water accumulates in the capsule container, which is modest in size.
