What is maté?

Maté is gaining more and more followers, with many people consuming it daily. And this is no coincidence given the many benefits attributed to it, particularly detoxifying properties and richness in antioxidants. The true name of maté is Yerba maté, this plant comes from a tree of the Aquifoliaceae family that grows in South America.

Argentinians, great consumers of maté throughout the day, respect an ancestral ritual: place the leaves in a maté, add sugar, honey or spices, form a well where a bombilla (small cylinder serving as a straw and filter) is inserted, pour hot water, let infuse before tasting without restraint.

Kusmi Tea sachets are made from PLA (polylactic acid), a bio-sourced material derived from the transformation of renewable plant resources. These sachets contain neither glue nor staples. The string is also made of PLA, attached to the sachet by a thermal process. They are biodegradable and industrially compostable in appropriate collection streams.

Ingredients : green tea (30%), rosehip, maté (17%), rooibos, fennel, mint, grapefruit flavor, guarana seeds and dandelion.
