The manual espresso machine Lelit PL042EM is the first machine in Lelit's Anita series.

It belongs to the "50s Line" range, domestic coffee machines inspired by Italian icons such as the Vespa or Fiat 500.

The Lelit Anita PL042EM is a combined espresso machine with integrated grinder, designed for those who want a simple to use, aesthetic and compact machine, without sacrificing extraction quality.

The 57 mm diameter extraction group and the brass portafilter are professional quality and ensure good thermal stability.

The brass boiler with a capacity of 250 ml ensures a constant water temperature to optimize coffee extraction.

The manometer on the front panel allows you to monitor the pressure during your espresso extraction.

The integrated grinder has 38 mm diameter conical burrs. The hopper can hold up to 250 g of coffee beans.

The Lelit Anita PL042EM also features an integrated tamper to make your task easier.

Its ergonomics

This machine is equipped with 3 buttons, each accompanied by a readable pictogram. The preheating time is quick (about 3 minutes for a first espresso), but we recommend waiting 15 minutes to let the brass portafilter reach the ideal temperature and obtain a perfect espresso!

Ergonomics have been carefully designed with an easily removable drip tray for emptying and cleaning.

The integrated grinder is adjusted by turning the ring located on top of the machine.

For milk drink enthusiasts, the stainless steel steam wand will allow you to make beautiful milk froth as well as dispense hot water.

To obtain a more manageable multidirectional steam wand, you will need to opt for the higher-end model by choosing the Lelit Anita PL042EMI. 

Compatible with ground coffee and ESE pods: remarkable versatility

The Lelit Anita PL042EM comes with single and double cup single filters allowing you to use pre-ground coffee thanks to the integrated grinder, as well as an ESE pod filter, ideal for emergency situations or to offer a decaffeinated alternative to your guests.

The Backflush function for deep cleaning

The Lelit Anita PL042EM features a 3-way solenoid valve allowing it to drain excess water from the portafilter at the end of extraction, while protecting the machine from overpressure.

This also implies the possibility of performing a Backflush  (deep cleaning) of your machine, using the blind filter accompanied by a specialized espresso machine cleaning product.

As an anecdote, Lelit named this espresso machine "Anita" in reference to actress Anita Ekberg, famous for her role in "La Dolce Vita".
