Melitta presents the Barista SE, distinguished by its elegance and ease of use. Its screen enables smooth navigation using a touchpad. The bean-to-cup coffee machine offers a wide variety of drinks and its large containers are perfect for family use:

The Barista SE espresso grinder is equipped with a pre-ground coffee chute suitable for making decaffeinated extractions. Milk-based drinks are available in OneTouch. Please note, the machine is not supplied with a milk jug.

The MyCoffee function allows you to save up to 4 user profiles, each with their own preferences: coffee intensity (5 levels), amount of water, milk, foam or hot water, depending on the selected bean hopper. Each family member can find their named and saved settings.

Exclusive Dual Bean Hopper

The Barista SE is equipped with a manual coffee selection system, allowing you to change bean type from the first extraction. The flaps under the two hoppers prevent beans from falling into the funnel located above the grinder.

Hopper switching is manual, by moving a lever. If you prefer a touch system, opt for the Barista SE, which also allows you to empty the brewing chamber to avoid coffee residue.

Barista SE machine maintenance

Regular maintenance helps preserve and highlight the aromas of coffee. Each maintenance step is carried out based on the number of drinks made and your water hardness.

• The descaling : Depending on machine usage, it should be performed every 2 to 3 months. Descaling removes limescale deposits from the machine's internal circuit.
• The brewing chamberIts maintenance must be performed weekly to remove grinding residue. Without this, the flavors of extractions will be less developed.
• The filter cartridge : Your coffee is composed of 98% water, if your water is not filtered, it may have a chlorine taste that affects your beverage.
