This Motta grind distributor, compatible with 58 mm diameter filters, is an accessory that helps improve the result in the cup.
The distribution of coffee in the portafilter is an essential step for a successful espresso. Water must flow uniformly through the entire coffee puck in order to extract all the aromas from your coffee.
Thanks to this Motta distributor, obtaining a homogeneous puck becomes simple. The upper disk rests on the rim of your portafilter while the lower helical part allows you to level and distribute the grind in your portafilter. Your puck flat will thus contain the same amount of coffee across its entire surface.
