The history of Nuit à Versailles tea by Dammann Frères
In 1692, King Louis XIV granted Sieur Damame the exclusive privilege to sell "Coffee, Tea, Sherbet & Chocolate" in France, thus marking the beginning of Dammann Frères' history. This adventure, which led the company to open counters around the world to select the finest teas, was enriched by a patronage approach supporting the restoration of the "La Nuit" statue in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.
Inspired by the fruits and flowers cultivated in the estate gardens in the 17th century, Dammann Frères created the Nuit à Versailles tea, a flavored blend combining bergamot, kiwi, yellow peach, orange blossom and violet. This green tea, rich in fragrances, offers a fusion of vegetal, floral and fruity notes, providing a royal infusion that will delight your customers seeking a unique and refined tasting experience.
