This descaler removes all traces of limescale present in your machine's pipes. This step is of vital importance, because limescale is the #1 enemy of your espresso machine. Gradually, it will accumulate until it clogs your machine, which risks damaging it and even causing leaks. A scaled machine also reduces the temperature of your beverage and alters the taste of your coffee.

How to perform descaling: Descaling must be carried out as soon as the machine requests it and/or if you notice that the temperature of beverages has dropped. To do this, follow these steps:

• Empty your water tank and remove the filter cartridge.
• Pour 10 cl of descaler into the water tank and top up with clear water.
• Prepare a 1 liter container and place it under the spouts
• Start the descaling program via the machine menu
• Once the flow is complete, rinse and clean the water tank before replacing it once filled in the machine.
• The machine will then proceed with a rinse, it is important to perform one to two rinses to eliminate all descaler residues.
• Once finished, the descaling indicator light turns off, you can replace your filter cartridge and prepare yourself a delicious coffee.
