This Nivona Café Romantica bean-to-cup espresso machine features a removable brewing unit. You can thus clean it approximately once a week by rinsing it with lukewarm water. This helps eliminate residues and coffee oils, maintain your coffee maker in good condition and guarantee optimal flavor in the cup.

We recommend using a filter cartridge in order to reduce the amount of limescale and maximize the time between descaling operations.

This Nivona coffee machine alerts you for all necessary operations (filter change, rinsing, wand) and offers automatic programs for cleaning, rinsing and descaling.

Expert opinion:

This Nivona bean-to-cup coffee machine is perfectly suited for a single person or a couple wishing to enjoy an excellent espresso.

Although only 3 settings are available for intensity and grind fineness, this poses no problem given the in-cup result that I particularly appreciated. Enjoy a coffee with rich aromas thanks to Nivona's Aromatica pre-infusion system, with a nice thick crema.

The little extra? The passive cup warmer proves particularly effective compared to what I usually test! You can place your cups there to avoid thermal shock and achieve a perfect coffee down to the smallest details.

Finally, the ground coffee chute and the cappuccinator ideally complete this bean-to-cup coffee machine if you wish to occasionally prepare a decaffeinated coffee or a milk-based drink. If you regularly consume cappuccinos, I recommend rather a One Touch model.
