This descaler is essential for eliminating limescale deposits in your coffee machine's pipes. Neglecting this step could damage your espresso machine, as limescale gradually accumulates, potentially causing blockages and leaks. Furthermore, a scaled machine not only compromises the temperature of your beverages but also alters the taste of your coffee.

Specially formulated for Nivona automatic machines, this descaler helps to extend their lifespan. This maintenance product, non-aggressive and ultra-effective, comes in a 500 ml bottle, allowing up to 5 descaling cycles.

Descaling instructions:

To perform descaling, follow these steps when the machine prompts you or if you notice a drop in beverage temperature:

• Prepare the machine: Empty the water tank and remove the filter cartridge.
• Mix the descaler: Pour 10 cl of descaler into the tank and top up with clear water.
• Place a container: Position a 1-liter container under the spouts.
• Start the program : Activate the descaling program via your machine's menu.
• Rinse : Once the cycle is complete, rinse the tank and clean it before placing it back in the machine.
• Perform rinsing cycles : Carry out one to two rinsing cycles to eliminate any descaler residue.

Once the process is complete, the descaling indicator turns off. You can then reinstall your filter cartridge and prepare a delicious coffee.
