Our recommendations for brewing your Uji Bancha Hojicha green tea
This tea is perfectly suited for brewing in a teapot. However, our brewing instructions also apply to use in a mug.
Use one teaspoon of tea per 200 ml of water. Let your tea steep in water heated to 95°C for 60 seconds. This is a very brief infusion time compared to classic teas. You can make a second infusion with the same leaves in the same way, allowing you to enjoy it twice as much. The flavor will be milder, but just as tasty.
Feel free to consume it hot, but also cold. In this case, simply let your tea infuse in the refrigerator before savoring it. Feel free to add a slice of lemon or a mint leaf if you wish.
