More and more consumers are joining maté, consumed daily by many people. And not without reason: it is attributed with multiple virtues, notably detoxifying and antioxidant. Yerba maté, the true name of this plant, comes from a tree of the holly family, native to South America.
In Argentina, where maté is consumed throughout the day, its preparation follows an immutable ritual: the leaves are placed in a maté, sugar, honey or spices are added, a well is formed in which a bombilla (small cylinder serving as a straw and filter) is inserted, hot water is poured, left to infuse and enjoyed without restraint.
Kusmi Tea offers 40g individual tea bags to enjoy your tea anywhere, with complete simplicity. Made from PLA (polylactic acid), Kusmi Tea bags use a bio-sourced material derived from the transformation of renewable plants.
Without glue or staple, these bags incorporate a string also made of PLA, attached to the bag by a thermal process. Biodegradable and industrially compostable, they require appropriate collection streams.
