The Baristina has no on/off mode: as long as it is plugged in, it remains in standby mode forenergy saving. The machine starts automatically as soon as you select a drink. It returns to standby mode as soon as it is no longer preparing coffee.

With only three buttons, you can choose between an espresso, a lungo, but also get a stronger coffee with theintensity booster button.

And if you want tomodify the amount of coffee in the cup, the programming is very simple. This will allow you to get an espresso between 30 and 70 ml or a long coffee between 70 and 200 ml (the maximum is perfect for a mug).

Thegrinder requires no adjustment, just put your coffee beans in the hopper, the Baristina will do the rest.

Philips Baristina: easy maintenance

The simplicity of maintenance is also a major advantage of the Philips Baristina espresso grinder machine.

Its innovative portafilter features a mechanism for ejecting the coffee puck more easily. Then simply rinse the portafilter under running water. Your coffee pucks can subsequently be composted.

To clean the machine's brew group and remove ground coffee residues, insert the empty portafilter and hold the Intensity Booster button for three seconds. Remember to place a cup under the machine for rinsing.

The Baristina coffee machine does not have a slot for a filter cartridge: only occasional descaling is necessary, approximately every 40 liters of coffee. Use a descaling product compatible with your coffee machine.
